QA Engineer (Core Team)

Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher from Limassol, Cyprus. The company is focused on the 4x strategy genre with an ambitious goal to grow it's hit game Total Battle to become the No.1 strategy game in the world. We are looking for a talented QA Specialist for our Core Team, which works on key game project functionalities. Our team strives for simplicity, scalability, maintainability, and excellent quality in its solutions.

Tasks to be solved:

• Testing improvements and major complex refactorings of the game's Core functionality.
• Ensuring effective interaction with the team regarding quality control.
• Working on testing processes and approaches within the Core Team.
• Updating and expanding the test model for Core functionalities.
• Participating in work on company-wide quality control processes.
• Participating in work on tools to ensure the effective testing of Core functionalities.

To work, you will need the following:

• Three years' experience in commercial software testing.
• A good understanding of testing methodology.
• An understanding of the software lifecycle and the role of testing throughout it.
• Experience in testing client-server applications.
• Experience working in agile teams.
• Experience working with requirements of varying detail.
• Strong test case creation and management skills.
• Experience of actively interacting with a development team, feature owners, and game designers to build effective relationships.Experience working with client and server logging.

It will be advantageous if:

• Basic knowledge of OOP.
• Experience working with a binary API.
• Experience conducting impact analysis.
• The ability to read other people's code.
• Experience interacting with support.
• Experience creating long-term test plans.
