Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced C++ developer to help overcome the current engine's limitations in terms of both 2D and 3D functionality. Our goal is to equip other teams with the best possible tools for working with game content.

Tasks to be solved:

• Adding support for geometry instancing.

• Improving skeletal animation blending.

• Assisting with the migration from Cocos2d-x.

• Developing a 3D game scene editor.

• Creating tools for viewing and editing assets.

The ideal candidate would be able to:

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in creating top-quality mobile visuals.

• Optimize and accelerate the graphics pipeline.

• Find ways to enhance productivity when working with graphical assets.

• Write clear documentation and guides.

• Develop and maintain unit tests.

• Take responsibility for assigned tasks.

• Use task decomposition and agile methodologies.

You will need:

• 3+ years of experience developing game engines using modern C++ (17 or later).

• Strong knowledge of design principles and patterns, with the ability to apply them effectively.

• Proficiency in technical English.

The following would be to your advantage:

• Experience contributing to a successful game engine written in C++ (e.g., UE, Godot, Unity, etc.).

• Experience building your own game engine.
