We’re hiring an experienced UX Lead to guide one of our teams in delivering exceptional player experiences for Total Battle.

Your mission will be to spearhead UX design and research efforts, crafting intuitive and engaging experiences while leading a small, but powerful team of UX designers and researchers to success.

This role goes beyond hands-on design — it’s about driving change by establishing best-in-class UX practices, mentoring team members, and optimizing workflows to accelerate delivery of product changes.

As UX Lead, you’ll work within a close, cross-functional team alongside Product Manager, Designers, Engineers and Analysts.

Responsibilities:

• Create and iterate on user flows, interaction flows, wireframes, and prototypes for game features.

• Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research to validate designs, partnering with UX researchers to analyze player behavior and refine features.

• Mentor and train a small team of UX designers and researchers, fostering skill growth through feedback, workshops, and hands-on guidance; distribute tasks to align with delivery timelines and team strengths.

• Develop and implement standardized UX workflows, including design guidelines, research protocols, and metrics.

• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager, Game Designers, Analysts, and Engineers to integrate UX insights into the product roadmap.

• Keep the team informed about mobile UX trends and best practices, particularly for F2P 4X strategy MMOs, to maintain a competitive edge.

Who are we looking for?

• Proven ability to create user flows, interaction flows, and high-fidelity prototypes for mobile games; deep understanding of mobile UX principles.

• Experience conducting and overseeing UX research using tools like PlaytestCloud.

• Experience leading or mentoring UX teams, with strong skills in task delegation, performance feedback, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

• Deep familiarity with mobile F2P midcore games, including player motivations, retention drivers, and monetization strategies; active engagement with mobile strategy games.

• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).

• Exceptional verbal and written skills to present designs and research insights to non-UX stakeholders.

• Strong ability to interpret data, formulate hypotheses, and create visualizations to drive evidence-based design decisions.

• Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple UX initiatives; empathetic approach to understanding player needs and mentoring team members.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in HCI, Game Design, Psychology, or a related field.
